Sign-on Bonus: $1000
Schedule: 2nd shift (3:00 pm to 1:30 am M - Th. (start at 1:00 pm with OT). Shift differential for this shift.
What Were Looking For
- A driven Welder to facilitate the production of company products and custom orders.
What Youll Do:
- Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor/team lead you will fabricate daily orders.
What We Need From You:
- Competent in welding technique and integrity MIG and/or TIG
- Ability to set up and operate equipment/machinery with minor assistance
- Ability to adjust the machine to the appropriate thickness
- Ability to position pieces into jigs fixtures and guides using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Produce product to quality standards
- Work toward meeting the 3 cabinet per hour minimum
- Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions
- Machine/material knowledge operations light maintenance safety requirements
- Ability to follow direction from trainers and/or supervisors
- Requires assistance in blueprint reading
- Willing to work occasional evenings weekends and holidays
- Additional duties as needed
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience MIG welding.
- Knowledge of the metalworking industry equipment and processes.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit stand kneel stoop walk or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
