Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Quality Production Specialist to join the product & services team located in San Antonio TX
Position Responsibilities:
Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type quality procedures and engineering requirements.
Oversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products operations and processes.
Guides the review of production plans.
Applies advanced knowledge of aerospace design systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance.
Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field.
Establishes process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives.
Oversees the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion.
Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminated.
Monitors the groups performance of the verification activity.
Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution.
Works under minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring lower level technicians.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must hold current Material Review Board (MRB) delegation
Prior experience supporting MRB approval process
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associates Degree or higher in a related field
