The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the resorts sales strategy to drive revenue growth across all market segments including leisure group corporate and event business. This executive role oversees the sales team develops strategic partnerships and ensures alignment with the resorts brand and financial goals. Adheres to all Company safety and departmental policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service. Anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong background in hospitality sales preferably in luxury or resort environments
Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
Excellent negotiation communication and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Knowledge of contractual agreements and legal implications
Strong customer and relationship management skills
Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect department
Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems including CI/TY
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality or related field (Masters preferred).
10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in hospitality preferably in luxury or resort settings.
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and leading successful teams.
Strong analytical communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Valid Nevada Drivers License
