About the Role:

The Team:

Platform Engineering is responsible for architect and implement centralized builds and environment provisioning through standardized infrastructure blueprints across Enterprise Solutions. Additionally they provide operational support assistance and guidance to teams within Enterprise Solutions for various DevOps and technology related items such as build pipelines orchestration tools and technologies.


Responsibilities and Impact:

Partner with a global team of engineers to help design and build cloud based solutions to solve complex business issues. Leverage infrastructure as code to deploy AWS resources and components to meet ever changing business needs. This will require partnership with business and product resources to understand the requirements and help define and build solutions. Helping design and drive multi-cloud platforms and tooling as standard solutions for a large business segment to identify best cloud opportunities for products and teams.

What Were Looking For:

This role requires a minimum of 14 years of experience in working with infrastructure with significant focus on Cloud based technologies and IaC. Additionally candidates should have extensive experience in designing and automating builds through configuration management tools such as Ansible within cloud platforms with a broad exposure to various services in AWS.

Platform Engineering

  • Automation of configuration management
  • Cloud-native architecture on AWS or Azure
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform or Ansible
  • CI/CD design GitHub Actions (preferable) GitLab CI Azure DevOps with a strong understanding of security within CI/CD
  • Observability: Prometheus Grafana Splunk Open Telemetry
  • Cost optimization and performance analysis

AI/ML Integration

  • Deploying machine learning models into production using MLOps
  • Automation of model retraining and monitoring (drift detection alerting)
  • AI-driven anomaly detection performance prediction and capacity forecasting
  • Experience in AIOps practices

DevOps & Automation

  • Strong scripting in Python Bash PowerShell
  • Event-driven automation with tools like Prefect
  • Auto-scaling infrastructure based on AI-driven forecasting and Machine Learning
  • Secrets and configuration management: Secrets Manager Azure Vault CyberArk
  • Cloud Custodian experience

Security & Compliance

  • Deep understanding of cloud-native security best practices and implications
  • DevSecOps experience and driving security as a priority in design and build processes
  • Auditability and compliance support for ML pipelines
  • Experience in integrating security practices throughout the SDLC lifecycle (ex: scanning and policy enforcement)
