Job Summary

Overview

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani a national law firm with offices in all 50 States has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal in its Jackson office. The ideal candidate must have a general background in paralegal experience. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

Paralegal Certificate a plus.
Experience in defense litigation with exposure to legal billing is preferred.
Experience preparing pleadings written discovery requests and responses subpoenas non-party requests open records requests and other discovery tools.
Familiarity with the Mississippi State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Managing and organizing electronic files reviewing documents preparing timelines/medical chronologies researching/investigation for case management preparation of trial exhibits and binders as well as general trial support.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; as well as close attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills (Win10 Microsoft Office applications etc.).
Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced team-structured setting.
B.A. degree is preferred but not required.
