Those in Guidewire testing at PwC will specialise in testing and quality assurance activities related to Guidewire applications. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration claims management and billing. You will be responsible for confirming that the Guidewire applications meet the desired quality standards and perform as expected.

Job Description & Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Guidewire Technology Consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis data analysis data migration and conversion and data profiling. This role requires excellent client-facing skills and the ability to work closely with large multifunctional teams to resolve dependencies blockers and risks and to find solutions to complex problems. The candidate should be adept at understanding complex data models transforming data and thinking outside the box to enhance processes. The ability to own features fully and deliver within stipulated time limits is essential.

Responsibilities:

Gather requirements with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Conduct requirement gap analysis. Perform data model analysis. Conduct data profiling to ensure data quality and integrity. Generate mappings for source to target transformations. Assist in overall strategy and technical documentation. Create SQL scripts for data extraction transformation and loading. Perform data visualization and reporting. Create and elaborate user stories. Provide handover to development and QA teams. Assist in development and test reviews. Conduct demos for feature acceptance. Track risks to the engagement closely. Report on project progress and status.

Mandatory skill sets:

Strong SQL skills. Experience on any ETL Tool. Proficiency in data analysis data mapping and data profiling. Experience working closely with clients. Knowledge of the insurance domain. Familiarity with agile principles and the role of a Business Analyst in a Scrum team. Excellent team player. Willingness to learn new skills and technologies. Commitment to delivery excellence. Experience in Data Hub

Preferred skill sets: Previous experience as a Business Analyst. Experience in IICS and Snowflake. Experience working with the Guidewire Insurance Suite.

Experience on working in P&C insurance domain. Experience in data conversion engagements. Experience in data warehousing. Experience with cloud platforms. Proficiency in any Business Intelligence (BI) tool.
