The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
The Bureau de qualité et amélioration continue (BQAC) of the Montreal Childrens Hospital supports key organizational projects that aim to improve care at the hospital. These quality improvement projects focus on improving access quality safety patient experience staff engagement and access to data. The BQAC team supports clinicians at the hospital on projects of all levels from local projects in a unit/department to large organizational projects. The junior assistant will accompany these projects and support the dissemination of this quality improvement work by writing abstracts creating posters helping to apply to conferences.
General Duties
Support data collection and analysis
Create data collection tools and methodology
Perform administrative tasks (including budgets management of meetings and focus groups minute-taking
Assist with reports manuscripts and grant applications
Identify appropriate conferences for finding dissemination
Draft abstracts manuscripts posters
Coordinate dissemination findings with project team.
Excellent French and English spoken and written
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.
