Job Summary
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Project Manager with strong soft skills. You will guide teams to deliver projects on time by managing commitments encouraging accountability and working well in uncertain situations.
Working Location: Empire Tower (100% onsite accessible via BTS Chong Nonsi)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead internal Scrum teams and run all Scrum ceremonies as Scrum Master.
- Act as Project Manager for client-facing projects using the Waterfall method.
- Plan manage and track both in-house product development and client implementation projects.
- Create and manage project plans timelines and resource allocation.
- Identify staffing needs and balance team workloads.
- Report project status to senior management and stakeholders each week.
- Prepare project documents such as: Project charter RACI matrix Risk register Communication plan Business requirements Project timeline Other project-related materials
Hard Skills (Technical Skills):
- Experience with Agile Scrum or Waterfall project management methods
- Skilled in tools such as JIRA Confluence Microsoft Project or similar
- Able to create and manage project schedules status reports and plans
- Knowledge of risk and issue management
- Able to track KPIs and other performance metrics
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
Soft Skills (Working with People):
- Ensure Project Commitments Are Met. Set realistic timelines and follow up often to make sure deadlines are met.
- Drive Clarity in Ambiguity. Help teams understand what needs to be done. Keep everyone on the same page.
- Proactively Manage Scope and Change. Define project scope clearly. Prevent unnecessary changes by asking the right questions and involving the right people.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams. Work with different departments and keep communication smooth.
- Communicate Effectively. Share updates in a simple way so everyone technical or not can understand.
- Support Risk and Issue Management. Find problems early. Make a clear plan to solve them and follow through.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing energetic and confident team leader
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management or as a Scrum Master
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and project management methods
- Strong communication and team coordination skills
- Able to identify ways to improve processes
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- PMP CSM or similar project management certification
- Any nationality; must have good English and Thai communication skills
