Job Description
As the Director of Clinical Services youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare at MDH leading with innovation driving clinical excellence and ensuring our patients and community receive Great Care consistently and every time.
What youll do:
- Lead and inspire our clinical services (excluding allied health) with strategic vision and operational excellence.
- Act as a role model and mentor for our nursing teams and emerging leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement innovation and safety in all aspects of care.
- Collaborate with Executive Board and community partners to strengthen MDHs profile as a leading rural health service.
- Champion our values of Respect Empowerment Teamwork and Great Care.
What youll bring:
- Registration as a Nurse with AHPRA supported by tertiary qualifications in health service management (or equivalent).
- Extensive senior nursing and clinical management experience (regional/rural background highly valued).
- Proven ability to lead with confidence foster positive culture and manage change with resilience.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary clinical practice workforce planning and quality and safety standards.
