Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join the team of our partner. This role requires strong leadership skills hands-on engineering expertise and the ability to manage projects from design to delivery.
Role Overview
As a Project Engineer your main responsibility will be to communicate with clients and sales representatives to understand project requirements design and oversee projects and production workflows using SOLIDWORKS and ERP systems and ensure on-time delivery in compliance with quality standards. You will also lead junior engineers prepare and update onboarding documentation maintain data flow in ERP and create visible workflow diagrams to support clarity in processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Communicate with clients to understand needs and integrate them into projects
- Design projects in SOLIDWORKS and prepare detailed production documentation
- Create and integrate production flowcharts into ERP systems
- Ensure accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) in ERP
- Conduct or outsource FEA thermal fluid mechanics and fatigue analyses
- Perform project cost estimations and prepare costings for RFQs
- Lead and mentor junior engineers supporting their development
- Prepare onboarding documentation for new engineers
- Report current production status to management
- Implement Kanban or Scrum practices into the team
- Apply Kaizen methodology to improve workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience
- Preferably experienced in cement/concrete machinery or heavy industrial machinery
- Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and AUTOCAD
- Strong command of English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated leadership skills collaborative mindset positive attitude and ability to make independent decisions
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently including active involvement at project sites
- Military service completed (for male candidates)
