About the role

Traditional grazing methods have shaped farming for centuries - but its built on fixed boundaries and constant manual work. At Nofence were creating a new approach to livestock management; one that gives farmers more flexibility better insight into their animals and stronger foundations for improved land management. By replacing physical fences with virtual boundaries and combining them with real-time animal monitoring were making it possible to manage grazing in more efficient and sustainable ways - with more freedom for the farmer and better outcomes for animals and nature. The farmer only needs GPS-enabled collars for cattle sheep or goat and the Nofence app.

As part of our continued growth and international expansion Nofence is now looking to hire a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts across the Northern Europe region - currently including Norway the UK and Ireland with additional markets expected in the near is a senior hands-on role with regional responsibility where you will balance execution with leadership. You will lead the Northern Europe marketing work across multiple countries and channels ensuring strong alignment with the global brand strategy while tailoring activities to local market needs.

The new Marketing Manager Northern Europe will also be responsible for managing and developing the marketing team in the region starting with the Field Marketing Specialist and with potential for further team growth as the region expands. You will report to the global VP Marketing based in Norway and work closely with the Head of Region Northern Europe who leads sales and support. Together you will align go-to-market activities to ensure that marketing efforts support local market needs and growth goals.

The ideal candidate has strong generalist marketing skills experience from cross-market marketing and deep understanding of Swedish agriculture and communication. You will need to be both strategic and operational structured and flexible and excited to help shape how we enter and grow in new markets. Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently are essential requirements.

Key responsibilities

Regional Marketing Execution & Oversight
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing activities across Norway the UK and Ireland
  • Adapt and localize global campaigns and messaging for each market in the region
  • Own the regional marketing calendar and coordinate across teams and countries
  • Be responsible for regional organic SoMe execution and planning in collaboration with the global brand team
  • Create and coordinate user stories farmer-facing content photo/video production and translations for the local markets
  • Coordinate paid media placements in agricultural publications in each market
  • Collaborate closely with the Field Marketing Specialist on execution of events and farmer-facing activities (field days trade shows webinars etc.)
Leadership & Team Development
  • Manage and support the Field Marketing Specialist in the region
  • Act as team lead for all regional marketing activities and stakeholders
  • Contribute to planning for future team needs and help shape a Northern Europe marketing team over time
Brand & Messaging Consistency
  • Ensure that all marketing materials and activities reflect the Nofence brand and tone of voice while being adapted to the regional and cultural context
  • Work closely with global brand SoMe PR and content roles to ensure alignment and quality
Insights & Collaboration
  • Act as the key marketing point of contact for Northern Europe collaborating closely with the regions Sales and Support team and the Global Marketing team.
  • Be the regional expert and voice into the global team - bringing forward local insights farmer feedback tone/language nuances and communication ideas
  • Help prepare for future market entries in the region with relevant research adaptation and coordination support



We believe you have

  • 8 years of experience in marketing preferably in agriculture technology or rural innovation
  • Strong generalist skills across campaign development content paid/earned/owned media and brand adaptation
  • Experience in managing teams projects and external partners
  • Experience in both digital and physical marketing channels
  • Native-level Swedish and fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Strong branding understanding and communication skills - both strategic messaging and short-form execution
  • Able to adapt global content and tone into authentic locally resonant messaging
  • Deep understanding of Swedish agriculture its culture and language
  • Familiarity with the Norwegian UK or Irish agricultural context is a plus
