Job Description
Location: South Africa and India (preferred cities: Mumbai Kolkata Bangalore) Remote
Estimated contract length: 1.5 to 2 months
Our client a leading global professional services firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Analyst to join their team on a short-term project. This role will focus on analytics configuration dashboarding and leading cross-functional projects that enhance digital data capabilities across multiple markets.
What you will do:
Data collection & configuration:
- Configure and implement web analytics for multi-country websites marketing microsites and other digital platforms.
- Manage and deploy tags using Google Tag Manager (or similar tools) ensuring accurate implementation of analytics and marketing tags.
- Support compliance with cookie management and GDPR regulations from a data collection perspective.
- Contribute to analytics platform migrations (experience with GA3 to GA4 migrations a strong plus).
- Assist with setup and configuration of cookie management platforms and consent modes.
Dashboarding & Reporting:
- Design and deliver insightful digital dashboards (web and/or integrated) that drive actionable insights.
- Apply strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts including data modelling data quality ETL processes reporting analytics and data visualisation.
- Work with platforms such as AWS Redshift Azure GCP or other data warehouse providers.
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract filter and manipulate data sets for analysis and reporting.
Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of special projects in collaboration with IT Legal and Marketing/Communications teams.
- Manage timelines stakeholders and outputs for high-impact initiatives such as:
- Google Consent Mode rollouts
- Analytics platform migrations
- GA3 to GA4 migration projects
- Analytics and dashboard revamps
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Strong experience with Google Analytics (GA4 preferred) and Google Tag Manager.
- Proficiency in JavaScript HTML and CSS for custom tag implementations.
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience working with cookie management consent modes and GDPR-related data collection requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with dashboard creation (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker or equivalent).
- Prior experience with analytics migration projects is highly desirable.
