Job Summary
Introduction
Duties & Responsibilities
* Must have excellent knowledge of hatchery operations
* Managing all technical and administrative aspects of the hatchery
* Co-ordinate the ongoing protocol of Biosecurity
* Prepares estimate of revenue and expenditure and manage approved budget allocation
* Compland present reports as requires on technical aspects
* Planning set per flock
* Arranging transport for chicks and egg collections
* Managing stock intake and outgoing stock
* Managing weekly graphs and reports
* Calibrating setters and hatchers
* Oversee nightshift staff
* Oversee plant room
* Boiler and chiller maintenance
Garden and terrain maintenance
* Communication and discipline
* Motivation an organization
* Client relationship (Egg Sales)
Desired Experience & Qualification
* Grade 12
* Tertiary Education will be to your advantage
* Solid and proven working experience as a Hatchery Manager
* Computer literate
* Be able to speak read and write English and Afrikaans
