Job Description

mogenius is the leading self-service platform designed to simplify Kubernetes and enhance productivity. It ensures safe operations and efficient workflows for DevOps and developers. Our mission is to enable developers to focus on the creative part of their work and develop great products.

As DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) you will take on a key role in a fast growing company with big ambitions. You will work closely with the entire team and participate in decisions that will have a big impact on the mogenius platform and our developer community. You can expect exciting challenges in a high-growth environment that will impact the entire cloud development landscape.

Tasks

  • As part of the DevOps team you will be responsible for building and maintaining a modern and scalable IT platform that ensures security efficiency and optimal tools for development and operations.
  • You will work on client projects supporting their infrastructure and DevOps teams
  • With your cloud expertise you will play a key role in the team for all topics relating to IT/cloud infrastructures and solutions.
  • You automate optimize and innovate existing and new infrastructures in the cloud with IaC
  • You create disaster recovery scenarios and put them through their paces.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the development administration or operation of SaaS solutions
  • You are familiar with the CI/CD and GitOps workflows and have already gained experience with GitHub Actions Gitlab CI ArgoCD/Flux
  • You are used to handling (Docker) containers and Linux is more than just a term for an operating system for you
  • You have been working with Kubernetes for several years
  • You have extensive working knowledge of Helm Terraform and Ansible
  • Sound specialist knowledge in application support monitoring and logging build and deployment scripting databases and networks / firewall
  • You are interested in the automation and optimization of processes
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • You speak German well; English is not a must but a bonus
  • Completed training as an IT specialist -or- successful university degree -or- comparable experience
  • Certification as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus
