About the Role:
The Content Acquisition Manager will oversee the strategic direction of special content in assigned subject areas and develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of ideas and ongoing content projects. You will work closely with Editors Publishers and other Content Acquisition Specialists/Managers internally and with external Editors and research community. This role is fundamental to ensure and drive content growth within the respective portfolios.
The Content Acquisition Manager has experience with commissioning understands the business and its subject area is comfortable working across areas and has the ability to commission at scale. They are involved in commissioning to strategy but can also identify opportunities and share leads with EiCs Publishers and other members in the Strategic Content Acquisition team. They have a good knowledge beyond their SME and a basic network across several subjects. They also work with other teams to develop workflows and tools for at-scale commissioning.

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies. Wiley proactively displays target base pay range for United Kingdom Canada and USA based roles.
