Job Summary

Mammography Technologist (Day Shift)

Location: Winchester MA 01890

Duration: 13 week

Shift: Day Shift(8) - 8:00 start

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: Local-$2720 - Travel-$2960; Depending on experience (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using state-of-the-art tomosynthesis (3D mammography) equipment
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process clearly and compassionately
Ensure accurate positioning and imaging technique to optimize diagnostic quality
Maintain proper documentation and complete all required reports in a timely manner
Follow safety protocols radiation protection standards and infection control procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for image review and patient care
Ensure compliance with federal state and departmental regulations and standards

Required Requirements:

ARRT Certification Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Mammography Certification ARRT RT(M) required.
Massachusetts State License Must be a licensed Radiologic Technologist in the State of Massachusetts.
Experience 1 2 years of experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms (including tomosynthesis technology).
Experience with Hologic mammography equipment required.
