Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using state-of-the-art tomosynthesis (3D mammography) equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process clearly and compassionately
- Ensure accurate positioning and imaging technique to optimize diagnostic quality
- Maintain proper documentation and complete all required reports in a timely manner
- Follow safety protocols radiation protection standards and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for image review and patient care
- Ensure compliance with federal state and departmental regulations and standards
Required Requirements:
- ARRT Certification Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Mammography Certification ARRT RT(M) required.
- Massachusetts State License Must be a licensed Radiologic Technologist in the State of Massachusetts.
- Experience 1 2 years of experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms (including tomosynthesis technology).
- Experience with Hologic mammography equipment required.
