Job Description

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to design and implement enterprise-level data solutions across cloud platforms (AWS Azure and GCP). The role requires expertise in data strategy modern cloud data platforms and advanced analytics solutions ensuring scalability performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and optimize cloud-based data architecture leveraging AWS Azure and GCP services.
- Develop data lake data warehouse and real-time streaming solutions for enterprise-scale workloads.
- Define and implement data governance security and compliance policies across multi-cloud environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders business teams and data engineers to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines and integrate data from structured and unstructured sources.
- Provide architecture best practices patterns and frameworks for cloud-based data solutions.
- Evaluate emerging cloud-native technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Ensure performance optimization scalability disaster recovery and cost efficiency of cloud data platforms.
- Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) and guide engineering teams in cloud data solution implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Data Engineering Information Systems or related field.
6 years of experience in data engineering with at least 4 years in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Strong hands-on experience in:
- AWS: Redshift Glue Athena S3 EMR Kinesis
- Azure: Synapse Data Lake Databricks Data Factory
- GCP: BigQuery Dataflow Dataproc Pub/Sub
- Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases (Snowflake MongoDB Cassandra etc.).
- Proficiency in big data & analytics frameworks (Spark Kafka Hadoop).
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica Talend dbt Matillion etc.).
- Knowledge of security & compliance frameworks (GDPR HIPAA SOC2).
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS Certified Data Analytics /Azure Data Engineer GCP Professional Data Engineer.
- Experience with data mesh data fabric and AI/ML pipelines.
- Strong understanding of DevOps/DataOps practices and CI/CD for data pipelines
