Cardiac Sonographer (Permanent Role) Location: Plano TX 75093
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic transesophageal and stress echocardiograms on adult patients
- Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
- Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness
- Document and report preliminary findings
- Collaborate with physicians to provide optimal patient care
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
- Maintain accurate patient records and exam documentation
- Adhere to protocols quality standards and regulatory compliance
Qualifications: Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program OR
- 2 years of relevant work experience beyond minimum qualifications
Experience:
- Less than 1 Year of Experience
Licensure/Certifications (Required):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
- One of the following credentials is required at time of hire/transfer:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS
