Job Summary

Cardiac Sonographer (Permanent Role)

Location: Plano TX 75093

Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform transthoracic transesophageal and stress echocardiograms on adult patients
Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently
Evaluate images for quality and completeness
Document and report preliminary findings
Collaborate with physicians to provide optimal patient care
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
Maintain accurate patient records and exam documentation
Adhere to protocols quality standards and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program OR
2 years of relevant work experience beyond minimum qualifications

Experience:

Less than 1 Year of Experience

Licensure/Certifications (Required):

Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
One of the following credentials is required at time of hire/transfer:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS
