Job Summary

Occupational Therapist- Day Shift

Location: Lexington NC 27295
Duration: 14-week
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1330 - $1470; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients physical cognitive and emotional conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
Provide therapy to improve motor skills coordination and activities of daily living (ADLs).
Utilize therapeutic exercises adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance patient outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians nurses and physical therapists.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for continued progress.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a Masters Degree in OT.
License: Active OT license.
Experience: 1 year of occupational therapy experience.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
