JOB TITLE: Cable Harness Assembler
LOCATION: Orlando FL
PAY RATE: $20.35/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 4/10 1st Shift

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Build harnesses from wiring diagrams and form boards; strip crimp solder and assemble copper and coax wire
Plug contacts into connectors and torque backshells to Class 3 IPC standards
Perform continuity checks on in-process and completed work
Read and interpret schematics blueprints and written instructions from engineering
Use hand and power tools jigs and saws for assembly
Conduct quality inspections per specifications; disassemble rework and test prototype assemblies as needed

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
1 2 years experience in harness building or cable assembly
Ability to follow processes and read harness prints/schematics
Strong blueprint reading writing and computer skills
Prior knowledge of IPC 610/620 requirements a plus; IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification preferred (not required)
Ability to read/write English
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
