Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Python Data Engineer with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in data engineering GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery with hands-on experience in API development and end-to-end data integration.
- Design build and optimize data pipelines using Python.
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs databases and cloud storage.
- Work with GCP services (BigQuery Cloud Storage Pub/Sub Dataflow etc.).
- Collaborate with data scientists analysts and product teams to deliver clean reliable datasets.
- Implement best practices for data governance security and monitoring.
- Strong experience in Python for data engineering and pipeline development.
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL data modeling orchestration workflows).
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) especially BigQuery.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs for data ingestion.
- Strong SQL skills for querying transformation and optimization.
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow Cloud Composer etc.) is a plus.
