Position Overview
Seeking a Drivetrain Systems Test Engineer responsible for validating new and revised drivetrain systems through lab testing and data analysis. This role involves managing test bay utilization leading test setups troubleshooting and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product validation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan execute and manage drivetrain system test activities.
- Coordinate test bay usage and resource scheduling.
- Conduct test setup shakedowns validations and rebuilds.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues during testing.
- Analyze and manage test data using VISION.
- Document findings prepare technical reports and support continuous improvement.
- Support bay maintenance and ensure equipment reliability.
Technical Skills
- Strong foundation in engineering principles and drivetrain systems.
- Familiarity with EPDP PDP and John Deere standards.
- Proficiency with tools such as DIAdem DEWESoft Matlab MS Office.
- Knowledge of CAN bus systems or software controls (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Education
- Required: BS in Mechanical Electrical or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Preferred: Internship or co-op experience in relevant engineering fields.
- Open to recent graduates with applicable skillsets.
