Job Description
Our company is seeking an experienced Business Planner to join our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The role is instrumental in formulating both short-term and long-term business strategies inclusive of quarterly and annual operating plans. The Business Planner will engage across various departments to synchronize demand production and inventory plans.
Responsibilities:- Document and convey planning assumptions modifications and results to relevant stakeholders.
- Establish maintain and enhance planning scenarios in Macro Planner.
- Develop optimized operating plans to maximize facility utilization factoring in profitability and delivery performance.
- Prepare and validate shipments booking and inventory plans.
- Communicate tactical and quarterly financial plans to key stakeholder teams including FP&A Raw Materials Operations and Commercial to ensure consensus alignment.
- Participate in cross-functional reviews and scenario planning to mitigate risks capitalize on opportunities and manage contingencies.
- Acquire proficiency in internal systems and support training initiatives as required.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in business supply chain engineering or related discipline.
- 2-5 years experience in supply chain encompassing supply or demand planning operations procurement logistics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with preference for experience in sophisticated planning software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and proactive with flexibility in office and remote working arrangements.
