Job Summary
Integrated Foods Ltd is seeking an Assistant Accountant (Fixed Term) to join our Finance & Administration team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic business and support continuous improvement across our group entities.
About the Role:Youll support the Finance Manager and wider team with day-to-day management accounting budget and reforecast cycles annual financial statement preparation and provide back-up for accounts payable. The focus is on reconciliations review and supporting process improvements rather than end-to-end AP processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with periodic financial reporting tax returns and bank transactions
- Support budget and reforecast preparation
- Maintain and enhance financial and management reports/dashboards
- Review AP approvals coding and documentation for compliance
- Provide cover for AP processing during leave/peak periods
- Perform end-of-period reporting and reconciliations
- Maintain system controls and support general administration as required
- Promote continuous improvement and contribute to a positive team culture
About You:
- At least 3 years experience in accounts payable roles
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Office skills
- Experience with Xero or similar financial software
- Strong numeracy analytical and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated organised and able to prioritise effectively
Desirable:
- Creditor experience
- Technically savvy and comfortable learning new systems
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance (or working towards one)
- Knowledge of farming/manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with Xero integrations
