Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect components and assembled parts.
• Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.
• Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
• Perform Internal AS9100 audits.
• Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.
• Lead or participate in 5S activities.
• Instruct technicians on proper installation assembly and techniques.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a High School diploma/GED witha minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
• Must have experience in leading operations or teams in completing tasks.
• Must be able to solve complex problems relate with other teams members and communicate with other levels of management.
• Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
• Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers height gages gage blocks radius gages and calipers etc.
• Must have IPC certification.
• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
• Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word etc.
• Applicants must be able to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama AL area.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualificatios

• IPC or JSTD certification
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
• Previous auditing experience.
