Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Quality Engineer based in Hanover MD. The Staff Quality Engineer will oversee and manage quality assurance practices to ensure adherence to company and industry regulations. Responsibilities include performing inspections developing processes to improve quality standards analyzing data to identify quality trends supporting cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and certifications.
Qualifications- Experience with Quality Assurance Quality Control and knowledge of industry standards (ISO 9001 or similar)
- Strong skills in Process Improvement Data Analysis and Problem Solving
- Familiarity with Auditing and the ability to conduct compliance reviews
- Basic understanding of technical manufacturing or engineering systems
- Excellent communication skills teamwork and attention to detail
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field
- Experience in the aerospace defense or manufacturing industries is a plus
- Certification in quality management (e.g. Six Sigma ASQ) is preferred but not required
