Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Risk Managerposition. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

TheRisk Manager directs manages and coordinates the activities and operations of the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) risk management program including liability property workers compensation insurance loss prevention and risk transfer activities (including contract review) liability and property claims administration and coordinates with Human Resources and external governing bodies.
Under the direction of the Internal Services Department Director this position performs all duties with a high degree of independence and initiative. The Risk Manager serves as a direct consultant to top management and supervisors on a variety of duties providing coordination oversight and leadership to the SacSewer risk management program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration Insurance Finance Risk Management Human Resources Management Accounting or other closely related field.
AND
Four years of full-time paid experience supervising or managing risk management programs which include responsibility for conducting risk assessment and evaluation liability property and claims administration utilization of self-insurance and excess insurance risk transfer and/or a related insurance industry program such as commercial underwriting.
