This position seeks an assessing therapist who will manage a lighter caseload while also fulfilling certain Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.
The role includes participation in morning meetings facility meetings and scheduling duties.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to the rehabilitation team which includes physical therapists (PT) occupational therapists (OT) speech therapists (ST) physical therapist assistants (PTA) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA).
- Oversee and ensure adherence to the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) processes.
- Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs tailored for high-acuity patients.
- Promote collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical and financial performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and facility regulations.
**Submission Requirements:**
- A minimum of one year of experience as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) is required.
- Experience in a leadership capacity within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) rehabilitation setting is required.
- Knowledge of the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) is required.
- Possession of a Missouri State License is required.
- New graduates are not eligible for this position.
