Pay:$14$16/hour DOE

Shift:Monday Friday 5:00 AM 2:30 PM (OT as needed)

Position Overview

We are hiring aMaintenance Helperto support the upkeep and functionality of machining welding and fabrication equipment. TheMaintenance Helperwill assist the maintenance team with repairs inspections and daily support tasks to ensure machinery and facility systems run efficiently in a fast-paced steel production environment.

Required Experience & Skills

High school diploma or GEDrequired
Basicmechanical aptitudeand familiarity with industrial tools
Ability tolift up to 50 lbsand stand for extended periods
Strongattention to detail and manual dexterity
Dependable with a strongwork ethic and good attendance
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Experience inmanufacturing or steel fabricationpreferred
Commitment tosafety protocolsat all times

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist withroutine maintenance and repairsof plasma cutters plate rollers press brakes and CNC machines
Support welding and fabrication teams by maintainingtools and workspaces
Inspect and troubleshootmechanical hydraulic and electrical systems
Perform basic repairs includinglubricating machinery tightening fittings and replacing worn parts
Aid insetup and calibrationof equipment for operations
Maintainclean and organized maintenance areas
Track and managemaintenance supplies and tools
Follow allsafety protocolsand report hazards as a dedicatedMaintenance Helper
