At our Hvidovre manufacturing site with 130 colleagues dedicated to producing high-quality Mesalazinean API used to treat inflammatory bowel diseases like Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns disease. Were in an exciting phase of growth continuously optimizing and expanding our GMP-compliant production to help millions of patients worldwide.

As part of our Maintenance Facility & EHS team youll play a key role in maintaining and calibrating process equipment and utility systems while also supporting safety and environmental initiatives.
Youll be part of a skilled maintenance team of 15 including 3 calibration and metrology specialists and report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Your day at Ferring
Your main responsibility will be to ensure validation and compliance within technical calibration.
Youll also map systems and create documentationincluding SOPs in both Danish and Englishhelping shape how we maintain and develop our equipment for future needs.

The job also include:

• Act as technical Subject Matter Expert in calibration and ensure calibration activities comply with cGMP regulations

• Support deviation and change control processes

• Troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems (temperature pressure flow level pH)

• Maintain accurate high-standard GMP documentation

• Manage procurement of instruments and spare parts

• Prepare facility documentation and instructions

You will collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments like Quality Assurance Production and external partners to ensure clear roles and responsibilities across all stakeholders.

Additionally you bring the following qualifications and experience:

• Solid experience in calibration and instrumentation with strong compliance knowledgeparticularly in handling deviations CAPAs and change control related to metrology.

• Hands-on experience with configuration troubleshooting and calibration of instruments measuring flow (liquid and gas) temperature pH humidity pressure and level. Experience with Vega instruments is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with weight/scale calibration especially using Mettler Toledo instruments is highly valued.

• Experience with TOC (Total Organic Carbon) and conductivity measurements is a plus.

• Understanding of 420 mA signal protocols used in instrumentation.

• Proficiency in both Danish and English enabling effective cross-functional communication.

• Educational background in engineering or a technical field such as measurement technology electronics or low/high-voltage systems.

• Comfortable working with systems like Sattline ApiPro SAP and Microsoft Office.
