What You Will Do
Manage multi-site SW development teams through Phase-Gate new product development (NPD) process
Manage and develop SW project timelines-based schedules.
Develop Software Requirement Document (SRD) capture from customer and product scope
Conduct regular team meetings and carry out communication with internal and external parties
Provide regular project reports showing status of each program in development and maintain effective
communication with program stakeholders such as suppliers and ODM.
Track progress of cost budget and timing of program from SW perspective reporting any variances and suggesting ways to bring program back to plan.
Planning executing and monitoring development projects in accordance with the defined software/product development model
Coordination of development activities in all of Harmans various departments including cross-functional team product management team product compliance quality and manufacturing.
Relentlessly execute project plan to meet schedule commitment
Ongoing risk management evaluating the risk and taking the necessary actions
Timely escalation to senior management team when there is a major issue that would significantly impact program schedule cost and quality which is beyond what the project team can resolve
