Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to produce precision metal components using traditional machine tools. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings to create accurate high-quality parts.
Work Hours: 7am-3:30am
Salary: $20-25/hr
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathes milling machines grinders drill presses and other conventional equipment to machine parts to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and work orders to determine machining requirements tolerances and materials.
- Measure and verify dimensions of finished parts using calipers micrometers gauges and other precision measuring instruments.
- Fabricate repair or modify metal parts for machinery equipment or prototypes.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed including materials used time spent and any issues encountered.
$20 - $25 an hour
