Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aid to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients. As a Home Health Aid you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to clients in their homes promoting their independence and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services including bathing grooming dressing and toileting to clients according to their individual care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living such as meal preparation medication reminders and light housekeeping
- Monitor and report any changes in clients condition to the supervising nurse or care manager
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care and progress
- Promote a safe and comfortable living environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients their families and other members of the healthcare team
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety standards
- Attend training and educational programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a related field
- Knowledge of basic personal care and hygiene practices
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting bending and standing for extended periods of time
