Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aid to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients. As a Home Health Aid you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to clients in their homes promoting their independence and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services including bathing grooming dressing and toileting to clients according to their individual care plans
• Assist with activities of daily living such as meal preparation medication reminders and light housekeeping
• Monitor and report any changes in clients condition to the supervising nurse or care manager
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care and progress
• Promote a safe and comfortable living environment for clients
• Communicate effectively with clients their families and other members of the healthcare team
• Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety standards
• Attend training and educational programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a related field
• Knowledge of basic personal care and hygiene practices
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting bending and standing for extended periods of time
