The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) to join our Seattle Delivery Center Quality team in Seattle WA.
In this strategic role you will set the vision for quality drive enterprise-level improvements and ensure alignment with regulatory customer and Boeing quality standards across multiple teams. Youll coach and inspire frontline managers and technical teams lead cross-functional problem solving for complex quality issues and champion data-driven initiatives that improve reliability efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership deep technical knowledge of aerospace processes and a passion for operational excellence as they play a pivotal role in safeguarding Boeings reputation for world-class aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers that ensure products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations.
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.
Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives managers customers stakeholders peers and business partners.
5 years experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams initiatives or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.
5 years experience leading and influencing people in a Quality Engineering or Manufacturing organization.
Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairmans certificate
Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process.
Experience with Quality Core functions
Experience with the One BPS system
The ability to manage develop and motivate employees.
Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner.
Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures.
Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving.
Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability Communication Continuous Improvement Customer Focus Managing Conflict Building Positive Relationship Ethical Leadership.
Demonstrated skills in Team Building Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.
Shift: The selected candidate will be assigned 3rd shift but may be required to work other shifts based on the needs of the operation.
