IDC is seeking a Senior Director of Program Management to oversee the strategicplanning execution and delivery of a mission critical strategic initiative. This new role iscritical for transforming our business model and operations and aligning our projects todeliver on key business outcomes. The senior director will provide oversight andleadership for multiple project teams ensuring cross-functional initiatives are completedon time within budget and to the highest quality standards. This will enable stepchanges in our operating model improve operational efficiency accelerate time-to-market for new products and significantly reduce business risk to the bottom line.

This role involves defining programgoals establishing effective governance developing standards and tools and providingexpert guidance to cross functional teams. Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership: Define implement and lead the program management strategy for the business ensuring all programs align with company goals and objectives.
- Portfolio oversight: Manage a portfolio of workstreams overseeing budgets timelines and resources to ensure successful delivery of program outcomes.
- Cross-Functional execution excellence: Lead across various business functions to drive alignment manage dependenciesensuring execution of program from end-to-end establishing best practices standard processes and performance metrics.
- Team development: Mentor and lead cross-functional team members fostering a culture of accountability adaptability and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and other stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment clear communication and risk mitigation.
- Risk management: Proactively identify track and manage program risks and issues developing mitigation strategies and driving timely resolutions.
- Reporting: Develop and deliver end-to-end program reporting (project to executive-level) on program status key milestones and financial performance to keep leadership informed.
- Process improvement: Identify and drive opportunities for improving program management tools and processes to increase organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business or a related technical field; an MBA or Masters degree is preferred.
- 10 years of experience in program or project management with a minimum of 5 years in a senior or director-level role.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale and complex programs.
- Extensive experience with various program management methodologies such as Agile SAFe or other scaled delivery frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align diverse cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with project and portfolio management software.
- Experience presenting to and communicating effectively with senior executives and at Board level.
