This position performs highly diversified duties primarily revolving around maintenance and repair of building mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems. This position will also support site maintenance work on production related equipment. This position will help implement all new items in our new facility and be given tasks via CMMS system for both facility & production equipment scheduled PM services. Help respond to immediate need calls and general facility maintenance and standard daily asks/tasks.

Your Mission

  • Able to manage data entry and able to fulfill tasks for work tracking within the site CMMS system (Limble)
  • Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of facility and production equipment including but not limited to building mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC system
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform regular maintenance and service
  • Diagnose problems replace or repair parts test and make adjustments to WSHP and refrigerant based HVAC and other industrial building or production systems
  • Order new parts as needed and maintain a spare parts inventory
  • All maintenance records to be kept presentable for auditing purposes
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools electronic meters and material handling equipment
  • Assess faulty operations and defective material; initiate corrective actions to resolve faults and unsafe conditions
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Able to operate and work from aerial platforms forklifts and other mobile equipment at heights up to 85 feet
  • Work closely with Safety and Facility and Preventative Maintenance departments on any changes to equipment or processes
  • Support site maintenance personnel in the maintenance and repair of production related equipment as needed
  • Availability to work extended hours and afterhours/holidays as needed

Your Story

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and facility maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical mechanical HVAC and industrial skills
  • Ability to quickly diagnose facility equipment failures/issues
  • Well versed in the overall specification and design of a machine or system
  • Able to ensure the safe operation of equipment thereby promoting safety in the workplace
  • Specialize in overall machine or system trouble shooting in terms of malfunction and breakdown
  • Responsible for all P/Ms pertaining to facility equipment
  • Strong mechanical repair background is required
  • Understands work flow and priorities has the ability to quickly shift to a task of greater importance.
  • 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
  • Some PLC pneumatic and/or CNC experience preferred
  • Fast-paced industrial manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be autonomous self-starting dependable and driven to perform needed work throughout the day
