Were seeking a Data Engineer specialized in Salesforce Data Cloud to design and maintain the pipelines that bring customer data into the platform. Youll ensure external data is ingested transformed and mapped correctly to Data Cloud objects enabling a unified customer profile and downstream activation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and manage data ingestion pipelines into Salesforce Data Cloud from enterprise systems APIs and streaming sources.
Transform and prepare external data so it aligns with Data Cloud objects (Data Lake Objects Calculated Insights Unified Profiles).
Partner with the Data Cloud Architect and Admin to implement identity resolution strategies and harmonization rules.
Monitor ingestion jobs and troubleshoot failures latency issues or data mismatches.
Optimize pipeline performance for large-scale datasets and near-real-time use cases.
Document ingestion flows field mappings and integration logic for governance.

QUALIFICATIONS

3 years in data engineering with direct Salesforce Data Cloud integration experience strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce data ingestion methods (batch connectors APIs MuleSoft or ETL tools like Informatica/Fivetran/dbt).
Proficiency in SQL; Python for data manipulation is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake AWS GCP or Azure) and how they connect into Data Cloud.
Understanding of Data Cloud schema identity resolution and calculated insights.
Salesforce certifications (Data Cloud Consultant Integration Architect) a plus.
