Job Description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

What Youll Do

  • Lead the launch of new equipment: oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) safety checks and setup to ensure smooth integration into production.
  • Enable success on the floor: train and mentor operators technicians and maintenance teams in equipment use and best practices.
  • Champion safety & compliance: ensure all equipment meets safety standards conduct risk assessments and engage with regulatory officials as needed.
  • Optimize performance: develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies troubleshoot recurring issues and track metrics like downtime throughput and OEE to boost efficiency.
  • Drive innovation & improvement: recommend upgrades modify existing equipment and introduce new technologies that expand process capabilities.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability performance and long-term sustainability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers technicians and leadership to deliver results that support business growth and patient impact.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical electrical mechatronics engineering or similar from an accredited university.
  • 4 or more years of experience

Preferred Skills:

  • 2 years of experience in equipment engineering (specifying designing qualifying or troubleshooting equipment for manufacturing or product development).
  • Strong problem-solving skills in equipment safety ergonomics and performance.
  • Experience working with suppliers for equipment tooling and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of equipment requirements acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and qualification (IQ/OQ).
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (FDA 21 CFR European MDD).
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Understanding of PLC/control systems.
  • Experience with Minitab or similar statistical software.
  • Programming skills
