What Youll Do:

Our Production Schedulers are responsible for scheduling production and maintaining raw material inventory at the site to successfully meet customer orders.

What Were Looking For:

  • Create and manage production schedules to meet customer requirements and best utilize the companys production capacity.
  • Purchase schedule and coordinate deliveries of raw materials / chemicals to support the production schedule while managing lead-times storage space and production requirements.
  • Work closely with various departments to maintain adequate product inventories.
  • Actively assess production requirements and build the production schedule aligned with customer demands safety stock levels and capacity limitations.
  • Interface with Supply Chain & Customer Service to ensure product availability and communicate any potential delays.
  • Establish and maintain safety stock levels for packaged products based on usage forecasts and demand.
  • Monitor and manage slow-moving & non-working inventories for rework and blending as needed.
  • Partner with the Warehouse Manager to maintain adequate finished product stock & address storage space issues and concern.
  • Confirm pricing of raw material purchases for the production schedule with supplier and corporate purchasing.

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • High School Diploma for GED required Associates degree a plus
  • Minimum of 3-years experience in manufacturing QA or inventory control; previous production planning role is a plus.
  • Microsoft Excel Skills to use pivot tables & formulas to analyze production deliver weekly updates within <24-hour turnaround
  • Use Excel or SAP reports to identify bottlenecks to reduce downtime.
  • Track raw material usage to ensure inventory is available to meet production demand.
  • Schedule production based on materials equipment availability & customer demand to maintain on-time batch start.
  • Create and update production schedule monitor material availability to ensure 100% accuracy in order creation & scheduling entries .

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Regulatory & Safety Requirement
  • Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts with ability and willingness to work OT as needed
  • Ability to sit for long periods of timeAbility to successfully complete and maintain safety training requirement
