Job Summary
The primary focus of this position is to provide general research-oriented support for the Partnership for Womens Health Research Canada (PWHR) with specific focus on sexual and reproductive health research. The Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator will assist with various research activities including planning coordination and communication of PWHR.
Organizational Status
The Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator reports to the Director Partnership for Womens Health Research Canada. The incumbent will interact directly with other members of PWHR including the Communications Working Group trainees researchers community experts and allied research and knowledge mobilization organizations. This position will be hybrid and based at the Womens Health Research Institute at BC Womens Hospital and Health Centre.
Work Performed
Perform tasks such as literature review assembly compilation and summary of statistical and other data.
Assist with data collection from patient partners community experts and healthcare providers
Assist with research grant application processes including interpretation of application guides and FAQs
Ensures accurate and detailed records related to research grants and contracts are maintained
Assist with the distribution of the PWHRs communications materials including the newsletter and updating the PWHR website
Participates in team meetings and follow up on action items
Assist in preparation of presentations social media posts and newsletters
Other related duties as required
Consequence of Error/Judgement
The Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator is required to conduct all research activities in an ethical manner and with adherence to the Tri-Council Policy Statement concerning Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans. Any procedures or data recorded as part of this research must be accurate and must accurately reflect the work performed. Strict confidentiality of all study participants must be adhered to.
Supervision Received
The incumbent will be supervised by the Director. The Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator will work independently with regular check-ins with the Director.
Supervision Given
The incumbent does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation some additional training in a related field and a minimum two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience in grants coordination project management or program administration.
Experience creating newsletters and graphics
Ability to listen actively and attentively and obtain clarification as required.
Ability to learn new software programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure that time-sensitive duties are completed in priority
Experience with digital and social advertising platforms
