Job Summary

Support GD IoT Solutions in establishing itself as a leading innovator in the IoT Solutions industry by contributing to the business growth in both areas.

As a Lead Generation Specialist you will play a key role in helping our sales team grow the customer base. Your main responsibility is to identify and qualify

potential customers through outbound activities such as cold calling email campaigns and social media outreach. Youll be the first point of contact with prospects

gathering information sparking interest and passing qualified leads to the sales team for further engagement. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is motivated

goal-oriented and eager to start a career in sales. We will provide training and guidance to help you succeed.

Your responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibility is to identify and engage potential new customers by leveraging prospecting tools initiating contact (e.g. via cold calling or email outreach) and presenting GDs logistics solutions in a professional and compelling manner.
  • The goal is to create and maintain a well filled leads and opportunity pipeline. Closing the opportunities and looking after existing customers will be managed by Account Managers.
  • Support the development and execution of lead generation strategies for IoT Track and Trace solutions (e.g. selling tracking devices to logistics companies).
  • Support market research and prospect identification activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Consultants in the Business Lines (Product Management) Marketing and Sales to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to deepen your knowledge of product solutions ensuring informed consulting and successful sales discussions.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or completed commercial training in Business Marketing Engineering or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in sales marketing or business development preferably in a B2B environment is helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Interest in (IoT) technology solutions and experience with the logistics industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team environments and willingness to learn.
  • Strong motivation to build relationships and to develop business opportunities.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to work with data and information systems.
