Job Summary
The post holder will perform engineering work in operations production or maintenance environments. They will design components installations and parts processes instruments and equipment and test manufactured products to maintain quality. They will plan design and estimate time and cost and oversees construction and maintenance of structures facilities systems and components. Duties include analysis and developing solutions to production engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures. This will include developing and applying production engineering standards and procedures and providing advice on issues within the engineering function.
Tasks
- Responsible for workflow throughout the Production Engineering organisation in regards to either manufacturing requirements; or fuselage configuration; or cabin design; or product support items; and related standardisation opportunities.
- Develop best practice lessons learnt and define method & tools accordingly to either improve engineering data quality and reduce manufacturing cost; or improve inventory and standards usage with a focus on cabin design or product support as appropriate.
- Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor / Master from accredited University (preferably aviation)
- Solid Understanding of fundamental concepts practices procedures and tools of the field of specialization.
- English: C1 level
- 3-5 years work experience with proven completion experience and project participation
- Excellent track record of managing complex technical task in highly collaborative environments preferably during an EVP IR or InService phase including fuselage configuration and cabin standards
