As a Sales Development Representative youll play a vital role in the client acquisition process. Youll be responsible for outbound phone sales to identify qualify and convert Correspondent Lending prospects to clients. Youll need to have an ability to understand and anticipate prospects needs and resolve their challenges.- Conduct outbound phone sales by calling mortgage bankers and qualifying them as applicants for approval in one of Correspondent Lendings two business channels Delegated and Non Delegated.
- Move leads through the CRM sales funnel to improve and expedite client acquisition results. Document all call and task activity update notes and maintain records in CRM.
- Facilitate communication with prospects to ensure all pre-approval questions and inquiries are addressed.
- Collaborate with outside Sales when necessary to drive home AmeriHomes value proposition to prospects. Assist with scrubbing Excel data list. You must be proficient in Excel and familiar with commonly used formulas.
What youll need:
- 1 years of related experience in B2B sales client facing role or similar field.
- High school diploma required; Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including sales operations capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
