Location: Tallahassee FL 32301

Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Oncology RN to join our dedicated medical-surgical oncology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care to adult patients. This role involves performing clinical assessments managing treatments autonomously and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect comprehensive data relevant to the patients condition or situation.
Analyze patient assessments to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses.
Identify expected patient outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
Advocate for patient needs and safety within the interdisciplinary care team.
Deliver effective care while optimizing use of time supplies and equipment.
Educate patients and their families about medications procedures and treatments.
Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout their stay.

Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required.
- Acute care experience strongly preferred.
- LTAC experience may be considered in place of acute care.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RN license in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain before start date).
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred required within 6 months of hire
Education:
- BSN preferred
