Job Summary
Apples Platform Architecture Engineering team is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to lead the design implementation and qualification of various prototyping platforms.
- BSEE or BSCE degree
- Familiarity with computer system architecture and PCB layout
- Understanding of the system development process (such as concept creation schematics and board development board and system bring up and debugging etc.)
- Experience with microcontrollers microprocessors or ARM based systems
- Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes logic analyzers and/or multimeters
- MSEE or MSCE degree
- 20 years of industry experience ideally 10 years in developing consumer electronics products
- Track record of leading projects from concept to prototype
- Experience with sensors and analog components
- Hands-on lab experience: soldering small surface mount components rework building prototypes etc.
- Experience with Cadence Concept and Allegro
- Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
- Understanding of low-level software such as drivers and real-time operating systems
