Job Description

This position is responsible for planning and executing sales activities while providing clinical and technical support for Advanced Bionics products in the assigned territory. The Clinical Specialist plays a key role in promoting cochlear implant solutions supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring optimal outcomes for patients.

* The initial territory area to be covered is: Barcelona Baleares San Sebastián (Basque Country) Zaragoza *

Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute sales activities for the Advanced Bionics brand to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify and address barriers to sales at cochlear implant centers; implement corrective strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with AB centers to support the identification and management of CI candidates.
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and integrity.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical and clinical support for device fitting programming and troubleshooting.
  • Train audiologists and clinicians on AB system use emphasizing features benefits and key positioning.
  • Support clinical studies integrity testing and difficult case management in coordination with HQ and field teams.
  • Monitor competitor activity and promote the clinical advantages of AB products to customers and patients.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Biomedical Sciences and/or Audiology; additional education in Sales/Commercial fields is a plus.
  • 13 years of clinical audiology experience (adult and pediatric CI patients); sales experience is advantageous.
  • Strong sales orientation with service mindset high performance motivation and results-driven approach.
  • Excellent organization efficiency and ability to manage stress; self-discipline and initiative required.
  • Effective communication skills including empathy active listening and message clarity.
  • Solid understanding of cochlear implant systems and fitting techniques; AB product experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in electrophysiological testing (e.g. ESRT Neural Response Measurement).
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English; willingness to travel up to 4050%.
