About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java and Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an ex-Capital One professional who brings proven experience in developing scaling and maintaining enterprise-grade applications in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain high-performance secure and scalable applications using Java and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture product QA and DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Apply best practices in coding testing and CI/CD to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Perform code reviews troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy.
Mentor junior developers and share best practices within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 years of hands-on experience in Java development with exposure to Python.
Strong background in building enterprise-grade applications preferably in the financial services or fintech domain.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases.
Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
Mandatory Requirement
Ex-Capital One experience is required (must have worked previously at Capital One).
