Job Summary
Dispatcher
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Store Manager.
Were looking for a Dispatch Manager to oversee daily delivery this role youll coordinate order scheduling manage routing and supervise drivers and pullers to ensure orders are accurate efficient and on timekeeping our customers projects moving forward.
What Youll Do
- As part of our team youll:
- Oversee the scheduling pulling and loading of orders to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Fully learn and utilize our dispatch/shipping software to manage order flow and keep sales teams updated.
- Communicate consistently with sales on delivery statuses changes or issues.
- Route trucks for maximum efficiency while maintaining safety and load compliance.
- Supervise pullers and drivers ensuring they are properly trained and performing at their best.
- Partner with our mechanic to coordinate truck maintenance and respond to driver feedback.
- Review stock issues and communicate with purchasing on shortages or outages.
- Invoice orders accurately at time of shipment.
- Follow company policies on credit returns pickups and labor scheduling.
- Support continuous improvement of delivery operations to meet company goals.
