The Boeing Company is looking for a Calibration TechnicianA to join our team in Everett WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan check set up and operate basic and advanced Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment

  • Use calibration standards (dimensional electrical thermal and optical) to calibrate adjust certify maintain and repair M&TE/process equipment using approved calibration procedures process specifications equipment drawings and M&TE /process equipment manufacturers performance specifications

  • Conduct routine tests analyze data and document results

  • Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of shop floor equipment laboratory and test-related problems

  • Route M&TE/process equipment between receiving area customer and calibration lab

  • Coordinate with customers to calibrate stationary equipment while limiting machine downtime

  • Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork

  • Ensure equipment is ready for calibration per metrology processes

  • Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report list hot list or as assigned by team lead or manager

  • Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear

  • Identify document and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes

  • Provide information and clarification to customers on metrology processes

  • Develop and review new calibration processes and procedures

  • Perform computations necessary to analyze measurement test results

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)

  • 1 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to lift push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field in lieu of experience in calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)

  • Precision metrology equipment lab training

This role is primarily second shift; however there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.

Summary Pay Range: $33.32/hour to start for new union members with potential to earn up to $61.01/hour at max pay
