What will you do As a Principal Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for leading large scale programs across AGI and AWS that serve both internal and external customer needs. Youll work with senior leadership stakeholders across product engineering legal compliance and other functions which requires ability to manage expectations and communication.
You are able to dive deep into technical challenges to help guide the team to focus on the most critical problems escalating issues when needed. You thrive in high-ambiguity situations building consensus and driving teams towards results. You will anticipate bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces to deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity high judgment negotiation skills ability to influence analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Mentor other Technical Program Managers while establishing program management standards
Drive architectural and integration decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term technical vision

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
